The laughter of a child…

…after they’ve violently smote their enemies. Mwuahahahaha!

Daily Prompt: What brings a tear of joy to your eye?

Most of the joyful tears that I experience come from stories. There is no rhyme or reason to the incident or dialog that will make my throat catch and my heart swell.

More often they are moments that I’ve read multiple times, and each time I experience the scene, it becomes intertwined with all the context before and after.

While there’s no comparing to the first time an exhilarating story moment happens, if you still get chills each time you experience it, that’s good writing.

Just searching for this image gave me goose bumps. IYKYK.
